Goodbye KaliKo

Tuesday we said goodbye to our dear friend KaliKo. She was my favorite officemate: she would keep my neck warm on cold days by forming herself into a living scarf. In touch with her digital cat, she would chase the cursor on the computer screen or sit on my mouse hand.

She was a super cool cat. A good friend. A warm snuggle buddy. There was a lot of personality in that tiny body, and she only let a few of us know her. Many of our friends never even knew we had a small, white cat! But there are a select few who gained her trust...only a handful of people who she would sit on or allow to pet her.

We'll miss you, girl.

My mom published a set of photos on flickr. I hope to put up some more in the upcoming weeks.
